Hi, I’m Dan Holmes, and I’m proud to be stepping into the next chapter of my golfing journey as I turn professional.
I’ve grown up with the game, spending most of my life at Freshwater Bay Golf Club, where I first discovered my passion for golf. The stunning coastal views, challenging course, and welcoming community have shaped my love for the sport and my commitment to improving every day.
As well as turning pro, I work as a greenkeeper at Freshwater Bay, learning the value of patience, precision, and care — qualities that influence how I play and how I coach today.
My coaching style helps you improve each aspect of your golfing game. Instead of trying to achieve the perfect “swing”, we build on your strengths and the perfect swing will come!

I provide coaching for all skill levels, including one-on-one lessons, group sessions, and specialised programs for juniors and ladies. You can choose what fits you best!
You can easily book a lesson through our online calendar. Just select your preferred time and type of coaching from the options available.
While having your own clubs can be helpful, I have clubs available for use during lessons. It’s most important to bring a comfortable pair of shoes and a willingness to learn!
